A summer wedding in July was the setting for a fresh and zesty colour palette. Emma had chosen the most beautiful sage green bridesmaids dresses and this was taken as a starting point for a green and white theme.
Emma herself needed no flowers as she had chosen a ‘brooch bouquet’. These ingenious creations are made up of vintage style brooches and jewellery. The bouquet can be taken apart after and used to make pieces of jewellery to be worn after the big day.
These beautiful bridesmaids carried hand-tied bouquets bursting with roses, stocks, sweet peas, lisianthus, september flower and alchemilia molis to achieve a colour scheme of white, ivory, lemon and green.
Emma’s handsome groom wore quite an unusual buttonhole which was made up of a small dendrobium orchid decorated with jewels and wire to compliment the brooch bouquet.
The rest of the wedding party wore ivory rose buttonholes decorated with the september flower, panicum and alchmelia to compliment the bridesmaids bouquets.
Last but by no means least was the absolutely adorable flower girl, daughter of the couple. She looked simply beautiful in a fresh floral crown with matching fairy wand………..
The crown is measured and cut to size……..
A quick change before church and ta dah…..
And so, to church…
Once again, everything from church found a new home at the reception, starting with the altar arrangement being placed on the top table….
The pedestals were placed at the reception entrance….
Pew ends found new homes on the end of the top table and the bar tables…
Church flowers can easily find a new lease of life at your reception so be sure to recycle yours. I have two packages this year which include free transport and set up at your reception.
